On-campus housing available Fall 2023
May 21, 2023 -- Richfield, UT – Snow College is pleased to announce that beginning this fall, students on the Richfield campus will have a new housing option. College officials worked to partner with a local property owner, establishing a multi-year building lease that will allow the school to offer student housing on the Richfield campus for the first time.
The lease will begin in August 2023 as students return to campus for fall semester and will be managed by the college to create a traditional residence life experience, including on-site resident assistants. The property, located adjacent to campus at 811 W. 50 N., will create convenient access for students to engage in campus life including activities, events, wellness resources, tutoring, fitness facilities, and advising services.
Keeping affordability in mind, students will pay $1,000 per semester for a shared room, $1,400 for a deluxe shared room, and $1,800 per semester for a private room. Amenities will include utilities (internet included), a full kitchen, and laundry in each unit. The new housing will hold up to 72 students.
While celebrating this new housing opportunity, Vice President of External Affairs Rob Nielson confirmed that this is only the beginning for increased student services and opportunities in Richfield when he said, “This new option for students on our Richfield campus will offer some much-needed relief to the student housing shortage, but we know that more is needed. We are continually working to find solutions as our Richfield campus grows and offers additional technical and academic programs.”
