Over $15,000 Raised During Giving Days

December 6, 2023–Ephraim, UT – On November 28-29, Snow College hosted the Giving Days campaign, and supporters of the institution responded in a big way. Giving Day, typically held the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, has become a global day of charitable giving. Officials at Snow College took the opportunity to raise funds to support Snow students, even expanding the event to a second day to give more supporters the chance to donate.

A total of 33 donors participated in the inaugural campaign. The largest single gift was $1,200, and the average gift amount was just over $400. The majority of the donations were earmarked for student scholarships, which will provide a financial boost to help even more students realize their dream of higher education.

Executive Director of Advancement and Government Relations Cameron Brooks was pleased with the response. He said, "We are so grateful to all our donors for their support this holiday season. Their generosity will bless the lives of many students, giving them the gift of education." Brooks also emphasized the importance of every gift—big or small. He explained, “I’ve heard from many who want to donate but don’t think their small gift would make a difference. We appreciate every gift and know that by working together we can make a big difference.” Brooks plans to make the campaign an annual event.
