As high schools across the state wrap up Utah College Application Week (UCAW), Snow College recruiters and ambassadors reflect on another successful recruiting tour. The goal of UCAW is to provide every high school senior in Utah the opportunity to complete at least one college or university application.
Snow College hosted over 2,200 students from 79 different high schools across the state of Utah in its annual Future Farmers of America (FFA) Field Day event. In this annual event, students compete in 11 areas relating to agriculture.
Snow College reports a total headcount enrollment of 5,997 students. These numbers were verified and released today by the Utah System of Higher Education.
Snow College is pleased to announce the schedule for its annual Homecoming festivities. The theme, "Small Town Nights Under the Stadium Lights," was chosen by the student body officers and is fitting for this annual nostalgic event.
Snow College was selected to receive $2.4 million in grant funding by the Economic Development Administration (EDA) of the U.S. Department of Commerce. The funding will be used to construct the Innovative Agricultural Building, which will support agricultural workforce training and entrepreneurship in central Utah.
Longtime Snow College faculty member Jay Olsen has accepted the position of Interim Vice President for Technical Education while Stacee McIff serves as the school's Interim President.
Snow College is pleased to welcome Dr. Satya Sundar Sethy as part of the Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence (S-I-R) program. As a Fulbright S-I-R, Dr. Sethy will spend the 2022-2023 school year teaching classes, presenting as a guest lecturer, and conducting research.
Snow College works closely with local officials on all health-related issues and will follow their guidance on addressing any potential threats.
Snow College is pleased to announce the opening of the Nephi Learning Center located on the campus of Central Valley Medical Center in Nephi.
The Utah Board of Higher Education named Stacee McIff as interim president of Snow College, to take effect on July 1, 2022. McIff has served as vice president for technical education and workforce development at the college since 2021.
