With an average class size of just 16 students, your professors will be able to give you extra individual attention to help you succeed.

Before you dive into your degree specialty, you’ll have a chance to take several General Education classes. These are designed to:

  • Provide you with a broad exposure to different academic disciplines in order to help you select your course of study and career path.
  • Facilitate the development of a passion for a specific area of study and a love of learning in general.
  • Show you how to analyse a situation and make decisions.
  • Help you improve your communication, creativity and social skills.
  • Provide connections between disciplines by providing integrated learning opportunities.
  • Prepare you to participate fully in human culture, ask probing and thoughtful questions, and engage as a responsible citizen.

Snow College Technical Education and Hands-on Training

Whether you’re interested in earning a technical certificate or just taking a couple of courses to learn a new skill, Snow College Technical Education has something for everyone. From cosmetology to composites, welding to cyber security—at Snow College you’ll get the hands-on experience you need in fully equipped labs. Our small class sizes mean you’ll have the help you need, when you need it.

Programs for Aspiring Engineers

Did you know that in addition to Associate degrees, Snow offers a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering? The Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering degree prepares software engineers to be collaborative professionals working on a team to develop software products on time, within budget, and that meet customer requirements. Graduates of this program will possess the practical knowledge and skill of a defined engineering approach for complex systems analysis, planning, design and construction.

Diesel and Heavy Duty Mechanics Technology

If you love big machinery and enjoy getting your hands dirty, then consider Diesel and Heavy-Duty Mechanics. You’ll get hands-on experience and complete the program with all the skills you need to pass the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) exams and become a licensed diesel technician.

Health Professions Programs at Snow College

The Health Professions programs at Snow College introduce students to the healthcare field and patient care. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be prepared for state licensure exams.
