Effective management is a seven part series designed to assist you in your desire to become a better manager. This course is for those in Management, HR, or Supervisors. Learn from these "How to..." workshops what it takes to really make your company grow and have all team members benefit from each other.

Computer Technology and Applications

Students will use Microsoft Office or Office 365 to learn the basics of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software and use all applications in a final project. Other technology related topics may include computer concepts, security, ethics, operating systems, email, Internet features, blogs, podcasts, Canvas, and other various technologies and computer applications related to a major or career.

Introduction to Marketing

This Introduction to Marketing course is designed to help students become proficient in the fundamentals of marketing and best practices. The course will cover key digital marketing terms, marketing research, buyer personas, positioning, buyer behaviors, brand management, product management, and pricing. Upon completion of this course, students will have an understanding of marketing principles and be ready to learn and practice digital marketing skills.

Content Marketing and Analytics

This Content Marketing and Analytics course is designed to help students become proficient in content marketing, web design, and marketing analytics using today’s leading platforms. After the completion of this course, students will be able to obtain an entry-level position as a content marketer.

Email Marketing

This Email Marketing and Customer Relationship Management course is designed to help students become proficient in email marketing using today’s leading platforms.  After the completion of this course, students should be able to obtain an entry-level position as an email marketer.

Heavy Equipment

Operators will train on simulators to develop real-world  skills needed to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Badges may be earned in forklift, excavator, dozer, backhoe, wheel loader, motor grader, articulated dump truck, concrete pump truck, and mobile crane. Students may earn multiple badges.
