Designed to increase worksite safety, this program provides simulator training for heavy equipment used in the construction field. Operators will train on simulators to develop real-world skills needed to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Badges may be earned in forklift, excavator, dozer, backhoe, wheel loader, motor grader, articulated dump truck, concrete pump truck, and mobile crane. Students may earn multiple badges. While the coursework will be completed online, students need to be available to train on the simulators on the Ephraim campus. Students will work with the instructor to schedule simulator time.
Right now, the program is free through the Learn and Work program. Click on the image below for more information and to apply for the program.
