Scott graduated from Truman State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 2010, concentrating in World Literature, and earned his Master of Science in American Studies from Utah State University in 2014, focusing on severed hands in urban legends and pop culture. His tendencies lean toward cultural studies, structuralism and American pragmatism, which lend themselves well to his extensive teaching experience in Research and Argumentation and World Literature.
