New Students: Honors Program Scholarships are usually offered to incoming Snow College Honors students. Recipients of this scholarship will receive a few hundred dollars split across two semesters (if scholarship requirements are met the first semester). Recipients are required to be members of the Honors Program and to earn at least three Honors Points each semester. Students must have a high school GPA of 3.5 or an ACT composite score of 26 and submit the required honors application in order to apply for this scholarship.
To receive an award the second semester the student must have completed 15 credits, completed three Honors Points, and earned a 3.5 GPA the first semester.
New Students Scholarship Application
Current Students: Honors Leadership Scholarships are offered to returning Snow College Honors students (for example, students who have previously applied for the Honors Program first-year scholarship). Recipients of this scholarship will receive a few hundred dollars split across two semesters (continued support is contingent on fulfilling Honors requirements). Leadership scholarship recipients are required to be members of the Honors Program and to earn at least three Honors Points each semester. Recipients will also be required to give at least 15 hours of service to the Honors Program each semester in consultation with the Program Director(s). Options for this service are many and can involve academic, social, or administrative leadership for the Honors program as agreed upon in consultation with the program director(s). Students must have a college GPA of 3.5 and be an active 2nd year honors student.
