Randy Mott is a career music educator with over 35 years of teaching experience in public, private, and collegiate education venues. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Music degree in 1998 and Master of Music degree in 2009. Randy has worked professionally as a drummer/percussionist with a variety of performing ensembles, employing the following styles; jazz, country, pop, funk, salsa, reggae, and ska, as well as in concert percussion and orchestral percussion ensembles. Randy also directs percussion ensembles and a steel drum ensemble in Pleasant Grove, Utah. When Randy isn’t teaching music, or performing, he works with his wife Lynde as her art director and managing CFO for LyndeMottArt.com. Randy and Lynde have 3 boys, 2 wonderful daughters in law and 2 incredibly above average grandchildren.
