They are also sought after musicians in the Utah music scene. Morgan Alm graduated from the University of Utah in 2020 with a Master of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy. During her time at the university, Alm studied private lessons under the direction of YouTube star, Dr. Joshua Wright. In the program, she received a teaching assistantship that allowed her to instruct for the Utah Piano Outreach Program. In this capacity, she taught group piano lessons to children from kindergarten through sixth grade at Uintah Elementary School. Alm graduated summa cum laude from Snow College in 2018, receiving a Bachelor of Music. During her time at this institution, Alm worked under the instruction of Dr. Michael Huff, Dr. Trent Hanna, Dr. Joshua Wright, and Professor Heather Bosshardt. As a student at Snow, Alm performed with many ensembles, including serving as Cadence Chamber Choir’s sole accompanist. She also assisted the Women's Choir, Symphonic and Chamber Orchestra, and various chamber groups. In 2016, Alm won the College’s Concerto Competition, which gave her the opportunity to play Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in C Major, Op. 15 with the school’s top orchestra. Each year that she studied there, she received various music, academic, and private scholarships, including the Alma and Ora Fairbourne music scholarship. Alm practiced the art of teaching as a private instructor as an undergraduate student with the Horne Youth Conservatory of Music program at Snow College. Growing up, Alm performed for many piano competitions, including MTNA and the National Federation of Music. She began her accompanist journey at a young age for various church groups and high school choirs. From ages 6-18, she studied under the instruction of Sandra A. Peterson. When Alm was just 16, she started her private studio.
