Title: Instrumental Pedagogy and Methods

Description: This course focuses on fundamental principles and specific techniques of music teaching. Students will reinforce, acquire and apply principles, techniques, methods, and philosophies of instrumental music performance. Required for instrumental performance majors.

Class discussions will include approaches to assist students to understanding teaching practices with respect to all performers and listeners. All classes will be designed to promote respect, social awareness and cooperation between all participants.
