How To Help Your Student To Apply

Application Steps

Snow College does not have a deadline for admissions. Students may apply up to and including the first day of the semester. However, we strongly recommend applying much earlier so your student can have the best selection of classes and be eligible for scholarships. The application process is easy. Please visit the Application page for step by step instructions.

If your student has already applied for Snow College, congratulations! You are already on your way to being a Badger parent. You may be wondering “What’s next?”. Visit our Next Steps page to help your student get everything in order to start their college journey strong!

Financial Aid

Many parents don’t think their college student will qualify for financial aid. What they don’t know is that roughly half of all students who do not complete the FAFSA actually would have qualified for a Pell Grant. Filling out the FAFSA is free and the information you provide is completely confidential. For more information, please visit the Financial Aid page.

Quick facts about Pell grants:

  • $36.5 million dollars worth of financial aid goes unclaimed in Utah every year
  • Utah’s average Pell grant award is $3,638.
  • Our tuition is only $1,705 per semester, compared to the state average of $3,197. That means your Pell grant goes further at Snow College!

Scholarships

59% of Snow College students receive some type of scholarship. Students who complete their application for admission before March 1 are automatically considered for academic awards. Please keep in mind, however, that all academic scholarships are based on availability of funds and are awarded on a first come, first served basis. This means that the earlier your student applies, the better their chances are of receiving a scholarship.

While academic and athletic scholarships are the most common awards, there are a variety of other types of scholarships available to our students. For a complete list and more details, please visit the Scholarships page.
