Online classes are no harder or easier than traditional face-to-face classes. You’ll get the same coursework as on-campus students. You’ll also have the same access to our attentive professors and online tutoring when you need extra help.
Yes and no. All classes need to be completed during the semester in which they are taken. However, the pace of a class depends on what types of online class you take. In traditional online classes, you have regular deadlines for course work, but you can complete the work for those deadlines whenever it is convenient for you. In CBE (competency-based education) classes, you have a suggested pace but can acceralate your progress if you would like.
Online students pay $190 a credit. We try to keep online classes affordable by pricing classes per credit rather than a single, full-course-load price. The only exception is international students, who pay in-state tuition rates.
With online classes, you aren’t tied to a campus. You can take online classes from anywhere around the world, on your schedule.

No. Online classes can be worked on any time of day. Additionally, tutoring is available 24/7. We let our professors sleep, though! But be assured that they are available to help as well.
For the best experience, you will need a computer that supports the most recent browser versions. It is recommended to use a computer five years old or newer with at least 1GB of RAM. It is also recommended that you have a minimum internet speed of 512kbps.
