Microsoft Office

The Microsoft Office 2010 Suite consists of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access. We do have older versions of Office, but we encourage users to use the latest version. Typically, a full installation is required so that all components are made available. The installation CD is found in the help desk managers office.

 

Installation 

  1. On your Help Desk Jump Drive, open the Office Professional Plus 2010 folder.
  2. Double click setup.exe.
  3. Select “I accept . . .”
  4. Customize.
  5. Make , , , “Not Available” by right clicking on them
  6. Make sure it will be downloaded in Programs and their names appear in the “User Information” tab.
  7. Install Now.
  8. When finished, close and restart PC.

 

Activation 

NOTE: If you use a CD for instillation, you do not need to follow these steps (it is automatically activated).

  1. On your Help Desk Jump Drive, open the Product Key.txt
  2. Highlight and copy the 25 digit code.
  3. Open any Microsoft Office program and select “Help” under the “File” tab.
  4. Click on “Enter Product Key”
  5. Paste in the 25 digit key
  6. Click “continue”
