Antivirus Software

Anti-virus software is the basic component to protecting your computer from malilcious software, often referred to as malware. Snow College is licensed to use Microsoft Security Essentials. However with anitvirus software, malware can still infect a computer. If you think your computer is infected, below are some links to download different Antivirus software. 

Malwarebytes download:

Installation intructions: 

To Install 

  1. Click “Download now”.
  2. Click “Save File”.
  3. Double click on the “mbam-setup” file and then click run.
  4. Click: Ok > Next > I accept the agreement > Next > Next > Next > Next > Create a desktop icon > next > Install > Finish.


To Run 

  1. Open Malwarebytes'
  2. Select “Preform Quick Scan”
  3. Click “Scan”
  4. Let Scan
  5. Click "OK"
  6. When finished, if any problems remove them.

  4. Click:

Ok > Next > I accept the agreement > Next > Next > Next > Create a desktop icon > next > Install > Finish.


To Run 

  1. Open Glary Utilities
  2. Select all bullets
  3. Click “Scan for issues”
  4. Let scan
  5. Click “Repair Problems”
