This DWFI report looks at the percentage of students given D, W, F (or E), and I grades. Faculty and academic leadership can use the information to inform curricular rigor, student academic preparedness, and high impact instruction to foster greater student success. Grades classified as DFWI represent all D grades (D+, D, and D-), F grades (and the E-grade, which used to represent an F-grade); W grades (W and UW), and I grades (I and IE). No credit or NC grades are considered passing grades due to the no-credit nature of the course.
Information can be filtered by division, program or department, and courses. Additional filters allow the user to look at a single term or view trend data across four or more terms, including fall, spring, and summer. Information is by general education knowledge area, instructor, student gender, student ethnicity, and actual grade breakdown (A, A-, B+ etc) is available by request to the Office of Institutional Research.
