Earthmoving Equipment Certification

Earthmoving Equipment certification is designed to assist you in developing proper operating skill, knowledge of site work, needed drawings and math skills, basic fundamentals of earthmoving, and safety . To earn the badge, you will need to complete four core classes and one of five operational simulator courses. 

The simulators are in person on Ephraim campus. They are estimated to take 50 hours of time to complete all the required modules.

To register, first fill out a Learn and Work application, then register once you have been admitted. You can register for the following courses.

Basic Operational Techniques and Safety CRN: 3241

Earthmoving and Grading Fundamentals CRN: 3242

Site Work CRN: 3243

Civil Drawings and Excavation Math CRN: 3244
