Yes, the public shows are really free. However, we do accept voluntary cash contributions at the show to help fund future shows (new feature movies can easily cost $10,000 for us to purchase) and help with maintenance, upkeep, and training. We encourage donations from groups that schedule a private show.
Coming into the dome theater after the show has started is highly discouraged. Entries and exits during the show are fairly disruptive as they ruin the dark.
No, but feel free to do so after the show.
The shows are G-rated, but small children may not have the requisite attention span. The theater gets dark and we strongly discourage entering or exiting during a show, but we also encourage quiet, respectful attention from all attendees. Disruptive children lessen the experience for others.
See our page on directions and parking.
