What is the best part about living in Ephraim?
The best part living in Ephraim is how small the community is, so you know everybody on campus. So you walk past people and you can say hi to them and it's not like everybody's got their heads down and you don't know anyone.
What is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place on campus is the science building because of all the windows and all the natural light. I like to study in the science building.
What do you miss most about home?
I miss my mom's food a lot when I come down here. I'm learning to cook though and I'm getting better, so that's good. I also miss Targets a lot. My favorite food that my mom makes is her chicken tacos. I try and recreate them, but they're never as good. And I don't know why.
If I am not in class where would people find me...
People would find me probably at work at the marketing office or in my apartment watching Netflix.
If someone wasn't sure of coming to Snow, what would you tell them?
I would tell them that Snow is so fun and it's awesome because the class sizes are really small, so you actually get to know your professors. And your professors get to know you and they actually care about you succeeding and they are willing to work with you outside class and have extra study sessions with you and so that really good about Snow that's different from other colleges.
What do you plan on doing after your graduate?
After I graduate, I am going to take a gap semester and then I'll be going to Utah State University to get my Bachelor's degree in communications.
What is your claim to fame?
I'm really good at memorizing song lyrics. And any music in my phone you could pull it up and play two seconds and I could tell you the artist and the song title.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Advice I would give my younger self would probably be to get out of my comfort zone, join a club, go to student life activities, because that's where you meet people and if you don't go to those activities, you'll just be lonely and that's not very fun. I think if someone's questioning coming to Snow, they definitely should because the quality of education here is great and you get a lot of bang for your buck at snow.
