About

I grew up right here in Ephraim, UT.  I have always had a love for numbers and puzzles which is probably why I have enjoyed math most of my life.  I have a wonderful husband and four amazing kids (2 boys and 2 girls).  I attended Snow College and graduated with my Associates of Science.  I received both my Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Accounting from Southern Utah University.  I worked in Seattle, Washington as a CPA for 5 years then continued working on the side as we moved around the US.  My husband joined the Air Force and we moved to Monterey, California; San Antonio, Texas; and Odenton, Maryland (near Washington DC).  We moved back to Ephraim in 2016.  I am the Budget Director here at Snow College.  I enjoy teaching a couple math courses each year which gives me the opportunity to get to know students and help remove some of the frustrations that many students feel towards math.
