Course Description
This course is the laboratory component of Human Anatomy (BIOL 2320). It gives students the opportunity to study models, skeletal material, and cadavers. It must be taken concurrently with BIOL 2320.
Justification
Each year, about 450 Snow College students declare nursing, physical therapy, or other fields in health care as their goal. Human Anatomy with a lab is a prerequisite for these programs.

- Students will demonstrate scientific reasoning throughout the various topics considered in the course.
- Students will display a mastery of human anatomy and its applications.
Course Content
This lab course includes but is not limited to, human anatomy, both microscopic and gross, organ systems, and scientific terminology. Active participation in the lab is used to reinforce lecture content and will be covered by reading assignments, essays, lectures, and hands-on learning using anatomical models and cadavers.Representation of a wide range of human body types, genders, ages, and other physical attributes is used to assist the student in gaining a comprehensive understanding of the human body.
