  • SOC 1010 Introduction to Sociology 3 credits
  • SOC 2010 Modern Social Problems 3 credits
  • One of the following:
    • SW 1010 Social Work as a Profession 3 credits
    • PSY 2300 Introduction to Social Psychology 3 credits

While we recommend that sociology students earn the Associate of Science (AS), an AA in Sociology is also available. The Associate of Arts has the same requirements as the AS with the addition of a foreign language (complete a 1020-level language course). Please see your academic advisor for full details.
