The Snow College Dance program welcomes students of all backgrounds and abilities, including those who have never taken a dance class before. Course offerings include classes in beginning to advanced level ballet, contemporary modern, jazz, tap, improvisation, dance conditioning, and choreography. Whether you plan to major in dance or are just looking for a way to get some movement in your day, our dance classes are for you!
Apply NowWhile we recommend that dance students earn the Associate of Science (AS), an AA in Dance is also available. The Associate of Arts has the same requirements as the AS with the addition of a foreign language (complete a 1020-level language course). Please see your academic advisor for full details.

Students who major in dance have many career options. They become artistic directors, choreographers, dancers/performers, dance studio owners, dance teachers, dance therapists, dance photographer/videographers, fitness instructors, and more.
