Dr. Robert Cox has a doctorate in athletic training (therapy), a masters degree in athletic training, and degrees in both dance and secondary education, along with various other certificates and qualifications, giving him a unique perspective when it comes to teaching dance. He has studied and danced in Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Vermont, Scotland, and Mongolia in a variety of settings, and he has performed professionally in various companies and productions.

He also has experience in directing, choreographing, and teaching many dance styles, though he specializes in Ballet and Ballroom. Through his additional training in sports medicine, he has also developed unique course to help dancers and other movers self-correct biomechanical errors through the use of natural reflexes within the body. He is excited to join the Snow College Faculty and always pleased to share his findings and collaborate with dancers, therapists, teachers, researchers, and students of all styles and levels
