With the new e-mail system up and running I want to thank the IT department for their
diligent work. Every single one of these individuals (Ron Bradley, Shawn Lindow, Julie Cox, Justin Cherry, Marlin Mason, Ernie Williams. I am sure there were many more, but I only dealt with these individuals.) have spent
countless hours getting the system up and running smoothly with very little problems.
This takes precision care in the fact that they had to identify part-time employees
and full-time employees from both campuses. Not just identify them but each had to
be connected with their Banner ID which is not always an easy task. If there were
individuals that for some reason or another were unable to get into the new system,
I just e-mailed Shawn with the names and within less than an hour the situation was
resolved. The above mentioned as well as the entire IT department, in Ephraim and
in Richfield, are always there to take care of our needs. Thank you for always being
patient and available when we need you. You guys and gal are awesome. Again, thank
you.

I was able to purchase a new computer and Justin Cherry was right there to help me get setup. He was always available when I ran into problems
and things were not working the way they were supposed to. Jim Kittelsrud was also very helpful in putting my backed up information back on my present computer.
Thank you.

Jim Kittelsrud is a man of many talents, with a knowledge of Banner beyond anything I've witnessed.
He has always been available and on-hand for the HR and Payroll Department. I know
that once he moves to another building we will miss his quick response, but even then
I know we will be able to count on him. Thank you, Jim, for helping our Department
run more smoothly

The Snow College Multicultural Center has been nominated and selected as the South

Ninety-nine business students from high schools in the six county area were on the
Snow College Richfield Campus on November 11, 2010, for a Business Career Day. During
the day they participated in presentations on Banking and Finance, Entrepreneurship,
Accounting, Human Resources, and Marketing and Web Design. Presenters included our
own Business instructors, Monica Anderson, LaFaun Barnhurst, Cozy Roberts, Stacee
McIff, and Russ Johnson, as well as our HR Director David Dyches, and Rick Robinson
from Zions Bank. Students also enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by the Snow College
Culinary Arts Program. Congratulations to Darlene Wabel, the Region Pathways Coordinator,
for a job well done and special thanks to all others who helped her in making it a
huge success.
Increased enrollment and subsequent activity on campus have prompted discussions about various growing pains associated with that growth. One topic of discussion in various cabinet meetings and other venues is whether the college needs to look at a more centralized approach to how we schedule events on campus. If you are interested, please read the attached document and send comments to Craig Mathie.
Follett Bookstores (our Bookstore in Ephraim) is now offering a “Rent-a-Text” program. We opted-in to the rental program in another effort to enhance student options and save them money. And, that’s not the only change at the Bookstore. Come and see the improved design and offerings at the Grand Re-opening this Friday, November 19. Refreshments will be served from 9:00 - 2:00, and a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 1:00. Faculty and staff will receive 25% off all purchases on Friday too.
