Qualifications:
  • Associate’s Degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Related data entry and/or recordkeeping experience; higher education experience preferred
  • Experience with database management, MS Office, and email technologies; ability to learn new technologies; experience with Ellucian/Banner or similar Student Information System preferred
  • Ability to successfully coordinate with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated proficiency with data accuracy required; attention to detail is essential
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and work in a team environment
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet stated deadlines
  • Occasional paid travel is required of this position (conferences, meetings, training, etc) outside of normal work hours. This may include over-night stays depending on the location of the activity attended.
  • Maintain high professional standards for assigned tasks 
Major Responsibilities/Duties:

The Student Success Center at Snow College seeks a motivated, detail focused student success professional to coordinate and process transfer credit for incoming students. The individual will:

  • Assist in the reception, scanning, and processing of all transfer credit transcripts
  • Post appropriate credits to each student record using Banner (Student Information System database)
  • Maintain the Snow College articulation database/web interface
  • Contribute to the Student Success Center team by serving on various committees and attending meetings
  • Serve as liaison between faculty, staff, and students throughout the articulation process
  • Maintain electronic and/or hard copy articulation files
  • Coordinate with the Office of Admissions as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate knowledge and understanding of ethics in data collection and analysis; adhere to Snow College polices and procedures; meet requirements for state and federal privacy guidelines
  • Stay current with curriculum changes 
Additional Information:
  • Approximately 25 hours per week (flexible but generally Monday-Friday 9:00-1:00); additional hours may be required during peak application processing times
  • This is an 11-month position with one unpaid week off at the following holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Christmas/New Year’s. Additional unpaid time off available upon request.
  • This position reports to the Director of the Student Success Center 
Salary: 

$15/HR

Work Hours:

Part-Time 25 hours/week flexible
