Qualifications:
  •  Associate degree required
  • Computer skills required
  • Basic videography and video editing skills preferred
  • Experience or knowledge of Snow College video conferencing system preferred
  • Ability to work with students, faculty, staff and outside Snow College entities with diplomacy and respect
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and able to manage stress well
  • Must be a problem solver and exercise good judgment
  • Flexibility – willing to adjust work schedule according to work demands
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Amiable and efficient, detail oriented
  • Not afraid to learn new things
  • Must possess excellent communication skills; written and oral
  • Ability to follow policy, procedures and regulations
  • Must work well with young adults 
 
Major Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Work directly and assist with troubleshooting Snow College Cisco Interactive Video Conferencing system
  • Work closely with Snow College Concurrent Enrollment Department
  • Help with training, scheduling and supervising student facilitators
  • Work closely with IVC instructors in delivery of classes to high schools and other higher education institutions, including Snow Richfield campus
  • Work with on-site and end-site facilitators for Interactive Video Conferencing classes, including facilitator training classes
  • Communicate operational, technical, and facilitation problems to the Utah Education Network
  • Troubleshoot and fix mechanical/technical problems with the Utah Education Network and high schools
  • Assist in coordinating technical support for rooms on campus with broadcasting capabilities, including West Campus
  • Operate cameras, audio and visual/audio equipment as needed to support the interactivity of the site
  • Assist with managing and troubleshooting the Lucy Phillips building classroom equipment and TAs (Teacher Assistants)
  • Assist in scheduling IVC meetings as needed
  • Distribute materials to participants (students, on-site and end-site facilitators) in video conferencing events
  • Assist in collecting and processing materials from participants of video conferencing events
 
Additional Information:

This is an eleven (11) month position paid over twelve (12) months with benefits

Salary: 

$32,000-$34,215

Work Hours:

Full-time 

M-F 8 am – 5 pm; but can vary depending on need
