Qualifications:
- Must be able to follow directions
- Must be able to pass background check
- Custodial experience preferred but not necessary
Major Responsibilities/Duties:
- Performs routine manual labor associated with daily cleanup of the Suites at Academy
Square
- Helps supervise summer cleaning crew
- Communicates on a daily basis with the Lead Custodian
- Performs general custodial and maintenance duties as needed, including but not limited
to, cleaning restrooms, kitchens and laundry rooms, cleaning carpets and furniture,
waxing floors, and snow removal.
- Perform other jobs as needed or assigned by supervisor
- Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally
- Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions
- Desire to learn proper use of general cleaning chemicals and cleaning equipment
- Ability to life 50 pounds easily
- Ability to work from heights and climb ladders
- Ability to establish and maintain working relation with supervisors, fellow workers
and students
- Ability to work shifts
Salary:
$9.00-$9.25/hr
Work Hours:
Part-time - 29/hrs week
