Qualifications:
  • AS Degree in Facilities Management or related field or any combination of education and experience totaling 10 years.
  • 10 years of electrical experience on school buildings or related commercial structures required
  • 5 years Electrical Automation / Controls Experience
  • 5 years High Voltage Experience, Tie-ins, Transformer/Switchgear Maintenance, Repair /Replacement
  • Read and interpret maps, plats, charts, plans, blueprints and/or electrical schematics
  • Applicable laws, rules, regulations and/or policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of EKM sub metering install and operation
  • Knowledge of Metasys Automation Control Systems
  • Must possess communication skills
  • Must be able to troubleshoot a variety of electrical issues both residential and commercial
  • Must be skilled in a variety of computer controlled lighting systems
  • Must be skilled in automation and controls • Arrange, coordinate, or schedule time and details
  • Keep accurate records and logs
  • Have a working / communication relation between Ephraim City and Snow College
  • To work under high stress conditions 
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems, make adjustments, repairs and/or performs preventative maintenance on computers, vehicles, equipment, or machinery, etc.
  • Repairs, cleans, adjusts and/or performs preventive maintenance on Electrical Controls and Automation equipment such as Johnson Controls and Metasys Automation Systems.
  • Wires and rewires electrical generators, alternators, electrical control equipment, circuits in buildings and shops, or other electrical systems.
  • Reviews plans for power distribution in new and remodeled structures, buildings, sheds or other electrical systems or electrical control equipment.
  • Maintains, repairs and installs computer lighting programs such as, Wattstopper and Douglas Lighting Controls.
  • Determines power requirements, overload cutout ratings and surge protection measures.
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned.
Additional Information:

Scheduled rotating on-call shifts, unexpected extended hours, possible nights, weekends or holidays as needed.

Salary:

$38,000-$40,000 DOE
