This is a part-time faculty position at the Central Utah Correctional Facility for
Snow College
Qualifications:
- Two years’ recent industry experience or combination schooling and industry experience
- Must be able to pass a fingerprint and background check at CUCF
- Must have excellent people skills, including team work and problem solving
- Preference may be given for A.A.S. degree in Culinary Arts or related areas
- Preference given for previous successful teaching experience at high school and/or
college levels
- Must have practical knowledge and skills in Culinary Arts
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Must have basic general computer literacy skills.
Major Responsibilities/Duties:
- Qualified to assist in teaching the following courses:
- Culinary Arts I & II
- Baking and Pastries I & II
- Hot Food Preparation I & II
- Short Order Cooking I & II
- Cold Food Preparation I & II
- Assist in teaching and supervising college students at the CUCF
- Assist in developing, locating, purchasing and organizing curriculum to meet current
industry standard teaching materials for the department
- Assist in testing, grading, and reporting as required
- Assist in teaching professional development curriculum
- Assist in articulation with other colleges/schools as appropriate.
- Assist in forming alliances with Culinary Arts industries and businesses
- Perform such other tasks and assume such other duties and responsibilities as may
be assigned.

Salary:
This is a part time position (not to exceed 125 hours per month) for Snow College
at the Central Utah Correctional Facility. Hourly Rate is $18.52. No benefits are
offered.
