Qualifications:
Master's degree in Communication, Broadcasting, Mass Communication, or related field.
Ph.D.'s encouraged to apply.
- Experience teaching introductory communication courses.
- Ability to work well with faculty and students.
- Dedication to excellence in teaching and student success.
- Willingness to develop new skills as the needs of the department change.
Major Responsibilities/Duties:
- Teach an average of 15 credits per semester.
- Perform additional department assignments as required.
- Participate in college committee assignments.
- Recruit and advise students.
- Participate in faculty development activities.
- Hold regular office hours.
- Teach general education courses such as mass media communication, media writing, public
speaking, organizational communication, and/or interpersonal communication subject
to the needs of the department.
- Be willing to assist or supervise various programs in the department such as Snowdrift,
Kage Radio, Snow TV, Communication Club, Communication Lab, and work with the department
colleagues to develop and maintain communication certificates depending on the needs
of the department. May teach some evening, weekend, summer, Richfield campus, online,
and distance courses.
Additional Information:
This is a tenure track position.
Salary is based on highest degree earned and years of experience.

$43,000-48,000 DOE
