Description:
The Student Success Office at Snow College seeks a motivated and highly organized
student services professional to assist with the delivery of Disability Services for
Snow College students. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated professional
background working with various stakeholders and a record of meticulous record keeping.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s preferred
- Professional experience working with Disability Services, Student Services, and/or
Academic Advising is desirable; professional customer service experience will be considered
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; experience with a Student
Information System (i.e. Banner or similar) and/or Canvas/Blackboard are highly desirable.
Database experience is also highly desirable. A willingness to learn new technologies
is required.

- Must be able to relate well to all stakeholders including faculty, staff, students,
and parents
- Must be able to multi task
- Must be able to function effectively in a busy work environment
- Must be detail oriented with paperwork, experience keeping meticulous records is desired
- Must have experience handling confidential information
Major Responsibilities/Duties:
- Schedule and monitor student testing
- Assist with providing alternative texts and adaptive technologies
- Manage the creation and distribution of student ADA accommodation letters/notifications
- File student documents
- Scan student files
- Assist with academic advising duties of students registered with Disability Services
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Coordinator of Disability Services
- Serve on campus-wide committees in support of Disability Services
Additional Information:
- General work hours are 9-5 Monday thru Friday with a one-hour lunch break and occasional
later afternoon/evening hours. Some extended hours are required during “peak” times.
- Limited overnight travel may be required for professional development, training, and
in support of academic advising/recruiting events.
- This position reports directly to the Coordinator of Disability Services in consultation
with the Director of the Student Success Center.
- This is a 10-month position with mid-May through mid-July off. Additional unpaid time
off is available with the permission of the Coordinator of Disability Services and
the Director of the Student Success Center.
- This is a permanent part-time position. Benefits are not available for this position.
Salary:
$14-16 an hour DOE
Work Hours:
Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00
Ten months per year
