Description:

Supports Snow College’s strategic enrollment management goals by effectively facilitating the scholarship awarding and tracking process for both the Ephraim and Richfield campuses.  This position reports to the Director of Student Financial Services.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of an earned Associate degree required. Bachelor degree preferred;
  • Must possess strong data processing, file keeping, office managerial, and organizational skills;
  • Must be skilled at working collaboratively with others, problem solving, and critical thinking;
  • Must be accurate in handling very detailed financial processes;
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience working in a higher education setting preferred;
  • Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times;
  • Must have demonstrated experience providing excellent customer service.
Major Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Processes the awarding of all waivers & scholarships to Snow College students in a timely, accurate fashion.  Compiles trend data to help administration make scholarship awarding decisions;
  • Coordinates scholarship budget accounts in collaboration with the Director of Student Financial Services and Budget Director.  Complies with annually approved budget levels;
  • Works closely with the business, financial aid & cashier’s offices to disburse scholarship funds, evaluate eligibility to retain scholarships, and process communications to students; 
  • Assists the Director of Student Financial Services in maintaining compliance with the Snow College scholarship policy and supporting the college’s scholarship committee as a non-voting member;
  • Ensure that all office (including student) employees are trained to perform delegated tasks accurately and provide consistent, quality customer service.  This includes providing timely, accurate information about Snow College scholarships;
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned including regular collaboration with Admissions Office and Financial Aid Office staffs to implement important strategies from the Strategic Enrollment Management plan.
Additional Information:

Requires occasional travel between Ephraim and Richfield campuses and possible attendance at off campus events.

Salary: 

$38,000-$40,000 per year
