Qualifications:
- Must have an MS/MA or PhD in Physics or a closely allied field from a fully accredited
university;
- Experience in teaching undergraduate courses in Physics, Astronomy, or associated
courses in Physical Science, is desirable;
- Planetarium experience is desirable;
- Good personal and communication skills to work with students and interact with colleagues
are a fundamental requirement.
Major Responsibilities/Duties:
- Responsible for the instruction of undergraduate courses and labs in Physics and Physical
Science;
- Typical course load is 15 credit hours equivalents a semester; much of the load is
General Education courses;
- Curriculum development and evaluation is an ongoing effort required of this position;
- Holding office hours and individual help sessions with students is also expected;
- Service on campus committees and special assignments on the Department/Division level
is an obligation of the faculty role in the College governance.

Salary:
$45,000 - $50,000
Work Hours:
Professional commitment - 40+ hours per week - 9 months per year
