Qualifications:
- Experience in handling cash and daily reconciliation procedures
- High school diploma, additional education/training preferred
- Thorough knowledge of standard office practices and procedures, equipment, and secretarial
techniques
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Accounts Payable and other Accounting experience/ education preferred
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently in the absence of specific instruction
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Office or inter-office experience preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must have good organization and filing skills
- Must pass a criminal background check
Major Responsibilities/Duties:
- Receipt student payments
- Receipt departmental deposits
- Balance cash drawer daily
- Organize and file
- Assist with other assignments i n Accounti ng and special projects on an as-needed
basis
- Providing customer service when needed, including assisting vendors with inquiries
and researchi ng invoices
- Greet and help people in a friendly, courteous manner
- Exchange information in an appropriate manner through good oral and written communication
skills
- Maintain accurate records and materials
- Answer telephone and direct calls as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Salary:
$11/hr DOE
Work Hours:
Part-time, 20-29 hours per week.
