Snow College is seeking qualified applicants for an Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach. Under the direction of the Head Coach for Women’s Volleyball, the Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the Women’s Volleyball program, including but not limited to, recruiting, coaching, and administrative responsibilities; all in compliance with NJCAA, Region XVIII, and Snow College policies and procedures.
Qualified applicants must have:
RECRUITING: The Assistant Coach will assist the Head Coach with the recruitment of all volleyball student-athletes, including phone, email, and social media correspondence in compliance with NJCAA rules. The Assistant Coach will also assist with coordinating on-campus visits.
COACHING: The Assistant Coach will assist with practices, game planning, and weight lifting/conditioning, including scouting opponents, assist in practices, game film breakdown, teaching skills and strategy, running practice in the absence of the Head Coach, and assisting with the strength and conditioning program.
ADMINISTRATIVE: The Assistant Coach will also be responsible for assisting with administrative duties, including budgeting, purchasing, monthly settlements, travel planning, special event planning, inventory, and fundraising.
Snow College Volleyball competes at the NJCAA Division-I level and is a member of the Scenic West Athletic Conference (Region XVIII) – one of the top conferences at the NJCAA Div-I level. Snow College has finished the past three seasons ranked No. 8 or higher in the NJCAA National Rankings. This past season, the Badgers received a bid to the NJCAA National Championship Tournament and finished the season with a school record 27 wins.
$1,000-$1,200 per month
