Qualifications:
- Must know and respect farming/ranching culture;
- Must have ability to communicate effectively by phone, email and face-to-face with
high school students, high school advisors and administration, and other stakeholders;
- Organizational skills;
- Time management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (working on Associate degree) or higher;
- Experience working or living around agriculture;
- Experience with admissions.
Major Responsibilities/Duties:
- Represent Snow College to high schools FFA chapters throughout Utah;
- Recruit students for the Ag Technology/Mechanics, Ag Business, and Equine Management
programs;
- Arrange and schedule appointments with high school FFA advisors;
- Travel to meet directly with student groups interested in the Agriculture programs
throughout the state;
- Aid students in applying for admissions into the program and at Snow College generally;
- Be the contact at Snow College for FFA advisors (and parents);
- Schedule and attend follow up visits with targeted high schools, counselors and students;
- Coordinate with the Ag Business office, admissions, financial aid, and the scholarship
office to ensure a seamless transition into Snow College for applicants;
- Travel to high schools throughout the state, overnight trips may be required;
- Other duties as assigned

- Part-time seasonal (not continual);
