Qualifications:

Applicant should have:

  • Associate’s degree required or 2+ years significant experience in a related field.
  • Must have a valid Utah driver’s license and reliable mode of transportation.
  • Must have a laptop to be used for work purposes.
  • Home-based – not on the Ephraim or Richfield campus. 
  • Must be willing to work and travel in assigned region (Northern Utah, Utah County, Central Utah, Eastern and Southern Utah.) 50% travel should be expected. 
  • Ability and scheduling freedom to accommodate attendance at early morning, late night, and weekend admissions and recruiting activities. 
  • Experience in working well with the public and projecting a professional appearance and work ethic. 
  • Experience presenting to and engaging with groups, especially high school age students–presentation skills are essential. 
  • Possess a working knowledge of college admissions, scholarship and financial aid processes and of Snow College and it’s programs (preferred). 
  • Experience working with/mentoring high school/college age students.
  • Excellent organizational, writing, planning, instructional, leadership, marketing and communications skills. 
  • Familiarity with and ability to contact, record contact information, track, and follow-up (relationship building) with prospective students, parents, and high school counselors within your assigned territory.
  • Ability to learn proper use of presentation hardware including computer, projector, and other tools. 
Major Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Serve as a recruiter for the Snow College Admission’s Office
  • Schedule and attend follow-up visits with targeted high schools, counselors, and students.
  • Do daily personal follow-up with, and help manage contacts in your territory. 
  • Represent Snow College on the annual Utah High School Tour.
  • Represent Snow College at college fairs. 
  • Build relationships and work with Alumni.
  • Support the Snow College Ephraim and Richfield campus Welcome Centers as needed/directed, including on-campus recruitment events (i.e. Snow Blasts, other events, etc.). 
  • Assist with off-campus open house programs (along the Wasatch front). 
  • Report directly to your assigned Regional Admission Advisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Additional Information:

Some nights and weekends. Expect to travel in assigned regions throughout Utah.

Multiple positions available

Salary: 

$10-$12 per hour

Work Hours:

15-29 hours per week
