Qualifications:
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in working well with the public and projecting a professional appearance and work ethic
  • Ability to present to and engage with large groups - presentation skills are essential
  • Position is based on the Richfield Campus
  • Willing/available to travel to assigned areas/in and out of state. Travel can be for a week at a time (50% travel should be expected)
  • Accommodate work week to attend early morning, late night, and week-end admissions and recruiting activities
  • Working knowledge of college admissions, scholarship and financial aid processes
  • Work independently AND collaborate with faculty and staff of both campuses
  • Excellent organizational, writing, planning, instructional, leadership, marketing and communications skills
  • Work with computers, social media and basic software applications
  • Able to properly use presentation hardware including computer, projector, and other tools
  • Experience managing a budget
  • Experience working with Customer Relations software and/or Student Information software
  • Experience working with/mentoring high school/college age students
  • Experience in creating and managing engaging activities for groups of college-aged/high school students
Major Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Position reports directly to the Director of Admission on the Ephraim, UT Campus
  • Represent Snow College throughout the state of Utah and at regional out of state fairs
    as assigned
  • Develop a relationship with assigned Central Utah high school officials (counselors, administrators,
    and instructors)
  • Coordinate efforts with Snow College Concurrent Enrollment Advisors assigned to the 6-county high
    schools
  • Schedule and attend follow-up visits with targeted high schools, counselors and students
  • Advise/mentor the Snow College Richfield Student Ambassador group
  • Manage/staff the Richfield Welcome Center for campus tours (daily campus tours, group tours -
    Elementary, Middle and High School, etc.)
  • Coordinate Academic Award Eligibility days/workshops at assigned 6-county high schools
  • Assist, as assigned, with off-campus Open House programs both Spring and Fall
  • Oversee an operational budget for travel and other specific Richfield campus event/ Ambassador
    support
  • Collaborate with Richfield Marketing Committee
  • Collaborate with the Richfield Campus Coordination Committee
  • Collaborate with Student Life as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Salary: 

This is an exempt position with an excellent benefits package. Salary will be based on degree and
experience with range from $35,000 to $38,000 annually.
