Qualifications:
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED, college training beyond high school will be considered
  • Must be a responsible, organized individual
  • Must be dependable and trustworthy
  • Must be able to keep confidences
  • Must have excellent telephone skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be able to follow directions
  • Must have computer skills in using Word, Excel, Internet, etc.
  • Must be able to type 50 WPM
  • Must be thorough and accurate in work assignments
  • Must have a valid Utah Driver’s License
  • Preference will be given to applicants with positive work experience
  • Must be able to work regular hours Monday through Friday 12:30 P.M to 5:00 P.M (Must have flexible schedule to allow for all-day coverage, if necessary, or covering afternoon shift, rather than morning)
  • Must submit to and be able to pass a fingerprint criminal background check
Major Responsibilities/Duties:

Perform a variety of office and secretarial duties:

  • Serve as front-line contact with the public in:
    • Answering incoming calls
    • Greeting and assisting students, staff, faculty and campus visitors
    • Scheduling facility use and coordinating setup requirements
  • Mail services
  • Provide backup for mail courier services
  • Keyboarding, filing and proofreading
  • Maintaining campus history files
  • Assisting with special projects such as programs, directories, brochures, certificates, catalogs, curriculum changes, faculty typing, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned
Salary: 

$10.50/hour

Work Hours:

Part-time position, 22.5 hours per week.
