Qualifications:
- High School Graduate/Diploma required; Associate preferred
- Very familiar with the computer and word processing, spreadsheet, database software
packages, Banner (Student Information System).
- Knowledge of English, grammar, punctuation, and correspondence forms
- Knowledge of general office practices and procedures
- Knowledge of office equipment to include calculators, computers, etc.
- Knowledge of telephone etiquette
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and to take accurate
messages and keep detailed records.
- Ability to exercise important human relations skills in establishing and maintaining
effective working relations with the college or university community, including upset,
irate and/or abusive persons on the telephone or in person
- Ability to work independently with little/no supervision
- Ability to make sound decisions independent of supervisor
- Ability to maintain a good rapport with students and instructors.
Major Responsibilities/Duties:
- Management and input of student enrollments into the online course management (currently
Canvas) system.
- Assist in the management and recruitment of faculty for the development of Electronically
Delivered Courses.
- Assist in Coordination of classes taught in the online course management system (currently
Canvas) including scheduling, arranging instructors, assisting with enrollment process
and creating new course sections in Canvas, assisting in the rollover of courses from
semester to semester.
- Assist students in trouble-shooting problems that occur with enrollment of online
courses.
- Represents Snow College TTC at meetings as requested.
- Sit on committees and record minutes as requested.
- Assist in supervising student workers.
- Handle email correspondence from the “ttc@snow.edu” on-line support service; keep
a log of all students, send information to students, notify instructors of student,
send reminder letters to student, etc.
- Handle all aspects of Canvas Online courses to include scheduling courses with instructors,
receiving registrations, keeping a log of students, sending reminder letters to students,
etc.
- Performs the routine administrative tasks related to the TTC operation under the direction
of the Director of Teaching and Technology Center.
- Maintains stock of office supplies, including monitoring inventory and reordering
as required.
- Operate various office machines.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Work with a rotating work schedule (Monday – Saturday, morning or evenings until 10pm
possible).

Salary:
$12.00 - $15.00/hour DOE
