Snow College invites applications for a position of Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts. This is a tenure track appointment commencing August 2019. The successful candidate will provide costume designs and construction for five theatre productions produced annually in a vibrant and productive theatre department.
The successful candidate will teach courses in costume construction and stage makeup each semester and possible GE foundation courses depending on proficiency. Candidates for the position must demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching and a willingness to engage students in scholarship and creative work both in and out of the classroom. Faculty members at Snow College are expected to participate in recruitment, faculty governance, student advising, and in other ways to demonstrate support for the mission of the institution. A positive attitude is paramount. The Snow College Theatre Department is an accredited member of the National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST).
$47,000 - $50,780 per year
