Description:

Reporting to the Director of Advancement and Government Relations, the Administrative Assistant supports the Director of Advancement and the daily operations of the Advancement team. This position will support relationships with people throughout Utah and the U.S. who have an interest in supporting the mission of Snow College. This is a great opportunity for a customer service professional with data management experience.

Qualifications:

•   A minimum of an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university.

•   At least three years of administrative experience with some supervisory experience, preferred.

•   Experience with database management.

•   Customer relations experience with high volume telephone contact.

•   Ability to successfully make calls to schedule visits on behalf of the Advancement Director.

•   High proficiency with computers, data management, and email.

•   Excellent verbal and written communication required.

•   Must be highly organized with acute attention to detail.

•   Must be motivated, articulate, and enthusiastic.

Major Responsibilities/Duties:

•  Coordinates the administrative functions of the Advancement Office and serves as the administrative support for the Director of Advancement and Government Relations.

•   Provides daily database administration including gift entry, data management, and gift acknowledgement for the Foundation.

•   Assists the Grants Manager with maintaining and updating files in the College’s online grant management system.

•   Provides assistance with grant reporting, data collection, and grant preparation, as needed.

•   Serves as customer service leader for the Advancement Office. Interacts with constituents at all levels. Coordinates all aspects of donor recognition and cultivation activities.

•  Produces reports, reconciles giving data with the Business Office, and manages related database tasks.

•  Creates and manages lists for direct mail and stewardship efforts.

•   Coordinates appointments for the Advancement Director, College Administrative Leaders, and Foundation Board members as needed.

•  Ensures ethical and confidential management of donor and prospect records.

•  Provides staff support for the Foundation Board, including board and committee meeting scheduling and setup.

•   Performs additional duties as assigned by the Director of Institutional Advancement including special projects.

Additional Information:

This position requires occasional evening and weekend work, as circumstances demand. Some travel within the state may also be required, and the applicant must have a valid driver’s license.

Salary: 

$13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Work Hours:

Part-time 5 hours/day. Some flexibility
