Utah Residential Freshman Academic Scholarships

We are excited to highlight our dynamic new and improved Academic Scholarship programs.

Snow College is expanding in enrollment and achieving new heights with programs (i.e., Bachelors in Software Engineering, Bachelors in Music, A.F.A. in Visual Arts, CTE …) while still maintaining personal touches such as smaller class size and low student-teacher ratios. Snow College remains the most affordable higher education in Utah, while still keeping student class fees reasonable.

With this in mind, we have created new academic scholarship opportunities that complement our long standing tradition of scholarship awarding for all students pursuing a degree or certification (eligibilty requirement must be met with at least the outlined GPA and ACT/SAT scores).

Please refer to your contract for the specific requirements of your scholarship. If you still have questions after doing so, please call the Scholarship Office at 435-283-7150.

Nonresident Freshman Academic Scholarships

Nonresident Tuition Waiver (one year award)
This scholarship has the same requirements as the Western Undergraduate Exchange, (below),
however; this is a one year award and the scholarship CANNOT be deferred.

Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE)
To keep the scholarship from one semester to the next you must:

  • Earn a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.00 on a 4.0 scale each semester of attendance at Snow College.
  • The Western Undergraduate Exchange scholarship will automatically renew for a second year provided the award was not lost during the first academic year. The WUE award is NOT deferrable.
