Please read carefully:
The Alumni Legacy Scholarship is available to non-resident students who have at least one parent who has graduated with an Associate degree or higher from Snow College. Applicants must be enrolled at a higher education institution in Utah for the first time to be considered. For students who meet the qualifications, their tuition will be reduced from non-resident to resident rate. Students can only be awarded one nonresident waiver (Alumni Legacy, WUE, or the Nonresident Tuition Waiver). The Alumni Legacy, if awarded, will replace all other nonresident waiver awards. Although the student is not granted residency within the state of Utah, their tuition will remain at the resident rate so long as they maintain satisfactory academic progress (12 credits per semester and a 2.5 GPA). To apply for the Alumni Legacy scholarship, please read through the application carefully and answer all applicable questions. Make sure that you submit your application before the start of the semester which you plan to attend.
If you are awarded the Alumni Legacy Scholarship, you will receive a contract that you will need to sign and return. It will be mailed to your permanent address listed on your application. Your contract will include the amount of the scholarship, the requirements to keep the scholarship, and other important information that you will need to know. Also, please make sure that you include an email address on your Snow College Admission Application.
