Governor Announces Higher Ed/COVID-19 Press Conference

Gov. Gary R. Herbert, Lt. Governor Spencer Cox, education stakeholders to discuss recommendations to the Utah System of Higher Education and Utah’s public school system

What: The Utah COVID-19 Community Task force, in close consultation with the Utah Department of Health, the Utah System of Higher Education, and the Utah State Board of Education, which are represented on the council, has made recommendations to Utah’s institutions of public and higher education.

Gov. Herbert has approved those recommendations.

These recommendations are designed to limit the spread of novel coronavirus, while helping institutions continue to fulfill their core functions. Details will be shared at this event.
