GradFest Event Will Help This Year’s Graduates Prepare

Multiple offices will set up in the Greenwood Student Center to streamline process

February 21, 2019 -- Ephraim, UT – On February 21, several offices involved in graduation will gather in the Greenwood Student Center to put the entire process of registering for graduation in one easy-to-access stop.

The offices will be there from 11 AM to 1 PM. The campus store will be selling caps, gowns, and announcements. Registration can offer advice and information about academic programs, completion, and diplomas. The Alumni Association will be there offering the option of buying Alumni Cords, which students can wear at graduation. The cords will cost $20.19 and the funds will go towards scholarship money for next year. Tickets for guests at graduation, logistics, and scheduling questions will be handled by the Commencement planning committee. Additionally, the ADA office will also be there to take requests from students with disabilities and special needs.

“The primary purpose of the event is to share information. We want students to know what is happening for their big day,” said Marci Larsen, Commencement Committee Chair. She described GradFest as a “fair-like event,” promising, music, food, and information. 2019 graduates should stop by and be sure they have everything they need to graduate.
