Snow College receives International Marketing Awards

March 15, 2016

Ephraim, UT – The National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) for Community Colleges awarded the Snow College Office of Marketing and Communications with two Gold Paragon Awards.

NCMPR's prestigious Paragon Awards recognize outstanding achievement in marketing communications at community and technical colleges. It's the only international competition of its kind that honors excellence exclusively among 1,500 marketing and PR professionals at 650 two-year colleges. Snow College received one Gold Award for their 2015-2016 School Viewbook, the College’s general brochure for recruiting students to the college. The viewbook was chosen for it’s outstanding layout and thoughtful design, clean and original photography, and having a clear, consistent and concise messaging that took the reader on a journey. The second Gold Award is for a poster entitled ‘Tabula Rasa’ used for promotion of a Snow College Dance Department Concert. The poster was selected for the creative photography and original design.

The Office of Marketing and Communication was established at Snow College only four years ago and has reached an impressive standard of quality in such a short time. This is the first time the office has entered the NCMPR competition, only entering two items. Winning top honors in multiple categories is an extraordinary accomplishment, especially for a new marketing office.

“This is a great recognition for our very talented and hard working Office of Marketing and Communications, and Admissions Office, for their collaborative efforts to create such a positive and upbeat message to tell the Snow College story.” Said Vice President Craig Mathie, “we are fortunate to have so many great people on our Snow College team!”

NCMPR is the leading professional development organization exclusively serving two-year college communications in the United States and Canada. They provide regional and national conferences and webinars on current trends in Marketing and Public Relations. NCMPR also sponsors regional Medallion awards and national Paragon awards recognizing outstanding achievement in College Communications.
