Ephraim, UT – The Utah System of Higher Education has verified that Snow College is showing record-breaking numbers for the second straight year.
Spring of 2015 Snow College showed their highest enrollment in the schools history with 3,986 students and spring of 2016 has broken that record with 4,469 students, up 12% from the previous year. These enrollment numbers include students registered on both the Ephraim and Richfield campuses.
In addition to attracting new students, the enrollment data shows the college experienced a strong retention rate among current students between the fall and spring semesters. “We had a strong enrollment on both campuses and interest in new programs we offer,” said Admissions Director Jeff Savage. “Student success and retention is an important priority at Snow College and there are many factors contributing to that, not the least of which is our student success center, student life office and our residential life staff. Students here are offered support in every aspect, academically, socially and emotionally. There really is a spirit of support and growth here at Snow.”
Snow College continues to be a driving force in the Central Utah area, creating new programs, degrees and certificates, and working with local businesses to help our students get the experience and education they need to achieve their career goals. Some of these new programs include Industrial technology programs, a geographical information systems certificate, allied health additions, auto and diesel mechanics stackable credentials, and the newly approved general education certificate.
