3:00-3:50 Opening and Keynote Address by Kayla Olsen

Kayla Olson is a passionate nurse practitioner dedicated to improving women’s physical and mental health by addressing root causes and empowering them to understand their bodies. She leads the THINK STRONG Movement, a mission to help women embrace their strength, find balance, and recognize their power to change the world.

Born and raised in a small town in Utah, Kayla grew up with a love for dance. Her passion led her to dance at a collegiate level and even trying out for So You Think You Can Dance. Alongside her love for movement, she always felt called to help others, which guided her path to nursing school and later earning her nurse practitioner credentials at the University of Phoenix, with a post-graduate certificate from the University of Connecticut.

Kayla is a proud mom of three: her two cowboys, Cinch and Stetson, and her little girl, Oakley. Married to her husband Chris for 12 years, they live a life full of adventure—roping, riding, playing baseball, and exploring the mountains together. When she’s not with her family, Kayla enjoys strength training and trail running, finding joy and resilience in pushing her body and mind.

Recently, Kayla faced a life-changing neurological disorder that took away her ability to walk. Going from running half marathons and dancing to relearning how to sit, stand, and walk was a profound challenge. Yet, it became a source of strength and inspiration. This journey ignited her passion to help women adopt a Think Strong mindset, empowering them to reclaim their health, rise above challenges, and “bloom” into their fullest potential.

4:00-4:50 Breakout 1
  • Room 1, Minimalism: Making Space for an Abundant Life
    • In today’s world, the common understanding of an abundant life is bigger homes, bigger toys, and more and more stuff. Unfortunately, what we experience is far from abundant living; it’s overwhelm and distraction from the things that matter most. Crystal will share the lessons she’s learned as a mom of six wildly different kids and through working with a variety of clients, including stay-at-home parents, professionals, influencers, entrepreneurs, and coaches.

You’ll walk away with actionable steps and a clear understanding of how to make space in your home and life to live more abundantly. Learn practical tips for letting go, how to cultivate a home that supports your goals, why less is actually more, how to bless others with the items you don’t need, and how minimalism invites more mindfulness, generosity, and possibilities into your life.

    • Crystal Ellis is a home simplifying expert and the owner of Simplify With Purpose, a professional organizing company. She has a degree in Home and Family Living with a minor in Business Management. She is Becker Certified and continues to be mentored by Joshua Becker of Becoming Minimalist.

Crystal helps busy parents simplify their homes so that instead of feeling overwhelmed and stuck, they feel hopeful and discover new opportunities. She teaches the art of letting go and how to curate your home into a place where you can recharge, make memories, and become the person you want to be.

In addition to speaking opportunities, Crystal helps you own less and live more through in-home simplifying sessions, virtual coaching, and weekly email tips. She also loves adventuring outdoors, laughing with her husband and kids, and listening to really good books at 1.25x speed.

5:00-5:50 Breakout 2
  • Room 1, When Your Heritage Isn’t Rooted Where You Thought: Using DNA to discover your “genetic identity”
    • DNA has revolutionized genealogy research by enabling individuals to identify distant relatives, fill in gaps in their family tree, and track their ancestry back further by comparing their DNA to a large database of other individuals, allowing them to connect with potential relatives. However, this great tool has a potential dark side. What happens when your DNA reveals that your heritage is not what you thought?
Toni’s own non-paternal event (NPE) in 2019 led her on an emotional roller coaster of discovering who she really is. In this presentation she’ll take you along, retracing her personal quest, where you’ll learn about valuable resources, tips, and tricks to help you on your own journey of discovery.
    • Toni Smith is a Snow College Alumni, graduating summa cum laude, and earning a certificate of completion in Cosmetology and AAS degree. She currently owns her own successful business where she specializes in helping her clients discover how to maximize their greatest features through custom color, cut, and styling.
When she’s not doing hair, she loves learning about history through audio books, sewing quilts, and genealogy. She has been a volunteer at her local genealogy library for twenty years, helping others discover their family roots.

  • Room 2, Think Strong & Radiate from the Inside Out
    • This class will focus on connecting the dots between our physical health and what truly works for us as women. Through the principles of the Think Strong mindset, we’ll learn to silence the noise of the outside world and social media that dictate what we should eat, how we should look, and who we should be. Instead, we’ll focus on building strength—physically, mentally, and emotionally—while developing a true understanding of our bodies and how they work. This self-awareness fosters self-trust and empowerment, allowing us to radiate confidence and strength into every area of our lives. By embracing Think Strong, we thrive as powerful women, creating meaningful impacts in the world.
